Insolvency Service DRS Income & Expenditure Statement

Submission of DRS Income & Expenditure (I&E) Statement is one of the eServices under IPTO's Insolvency eServices. It allows debtors who are under Debt Repayment Scheme to submit their I&E Statements electronically. There are 8 pages for this eService, of which the first 6 pages constitute the I & E Statement Details and the remaining 2 pages are for checking and confirmation purposes.
This eService is free-of-charge and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Income & Expenditure Statement(s) to be Submitted
2. Particulars of Debtor
3. Income for the Period Submitted
4. Monthly Expenditure
5. Transaction Summary
6. Transaction Completed


 1. Income & Expenditure Statement(s) to be Submitted
 
a. The page will display all the statements which you have created and are pending submission. Each statement pending submission will be retained in the system for ONLY 5 calendar days.
 
b. Click on Edit to modify details previously entered in a pending application.
 
c. Usage of Buttons :
 
Back : Brings you to the previous page.
Next : Verification of the information will begin after you click on the [Next] button. After verification, the system will proceed to the next page.
Clear Page : Clears the information for the current page.
Submit : The information you entered will be submitted.
Save & Exit : Verification of the information will begin after you click on the [Save & Exit] button. After verification, information that you have entered will be saved into the database and the system will proceed to the Income & Expenditure Statement(s) to be Submitted page.
Cancel : You can abort the transaction by clicking on the [Cancel] button.

 2. Particulars of Debtor
 
a. You will see this page if you are under Debt Repayment Scheme and there are outstanding period(s) for you to submit your I & E Statement.
 
b. Click on the [Next] button to continue, and you will be directed to the Income for the Period Submitted page.

 3. Income for the Period Submitted
 
a. Enter all the required information.
 
b. After entering all the details required, click on the [Next] button to continue.
 
c. If all required information has been correctly entered, you will be directed to the Monthly Expenditure page.
 
d. If you have either omitted mandatory fields marked with an asterisk(*) or furnished information that is incorrect/incomplete, error messages will be displayed at the top of the page. Correct the errors before clicking on the [Next] button again.

 4. Monthly Expenditure
 
a. Enter all the required information.
 
b. After entering all the details required, click on the [Next] button to continue.
 
c. If all required information has been correctly entered, you will be directed to the Transaction Summary page.
 
d. If you have either omitted mandatory fields marked with an asterisk(*) or furnished information that is incorrect/incomplete, error messages will be displayed at the top of the page. Correct the errors before clicking on the [Next] button again.

 5. Transaction Summary & Submission of Documents
 
a. This page will display all the details of your I & E Statement that you have completed.
 
b. Check through to make sure the details that you have entered are correct.
 
c. If there is a need to amend any information, click on the [Back] button to return to the pages that require the amendments.
 
d. Documents can be attached on this page. Only documents in the PDF, JPG, GIF, DOC, DOCX, XLS and XLSX formats can be accepted.
 
e. If all the information is correct, read the Declaration message. If you agree to the Declaration, click on "Yes, I agree".
 
f. Click on the [Submit] button to submit the statement. If you do not wish to submit the statement, click on the [Cancel] button to abort the whole transaction.

 6. Transaction Completed
 
a. Upon the successful submission of the statement, you will see this page. The page will display the key DRS Details and the period that you have filed the statement for. An E-Filing Number will also be generated and displayed on this page. This E-Filing Number will be your reference number if you need to check with IPTO on your electronic submission.
 
b. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
 
c. The remaining number of I & E statements that you need to submit will be displayed. If you have outstanding statements to submit, you may decide whether or not you want to submit another I & E statement.
 
d. If you wish to submit another statement, click on the [Yes] button. If you do not wish to submit another statement, click on the [No] button.
 
e. If you do not have any other outstanding I & E statements, you will not be prompted with the question. To end, click on the [OK] button.
