Submission of Application for Official Assignee's Permission to Leave Singapore (Travel Application) is one of the eServices under IPTO's Insolvency eServices. It allows Bankrupts to submit the application electronically. There are 4 pages for this eService, of which the first 2 pages constitute the travel application details and the remaining 2 pages are for checking and confirmation purposes.
This eService is free-of-charge and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

 1. Select Case
 

 
a.

You will see this page if you are involved in more than 1 valid bankruptcy case.

 
b.

Select the case which you want to apply for travel application and click [Proceed].

 
c. Usage of Buttons :
 
[Back] : Brings you to the previous page.
[Next] : Verification of the information will begin after you click on the [Next] button. After verification, the system will proceed to the next page.
[Submit] : The information you entered will be submitted.
[Clear Page] : Clears the information for the current page.
[Cancel] : You can abort the transaction by clicking on the [Cancel] button.

 2. Application Details
 
 
a.

You will see this page if you are involved in a valid bankruptcy case and you have not submitted any travel application for the day.

 
 
b.

Enter all the required information.

 
 
c.

After entering all the details required, click on the [Next] button to continue.

 
 
d.

If all required information has been entered correctly, you will be directed to the next page 'Transaction Summary'.

 
 
e.

If you have either omitted mandatory fields marked with an asterisk(*) or if you have furnished information that is incorrect/incomplete, error messages will be displayed at the top of the page. Correct the errors before clicking on the [Next] button again.

 3. Transaction Summary
 
 
a.

This page will display all the details of your Travel Application that you have completed.

 
 
b.

Check through to make sure the details that you have entered are correct.

 
 
c.

If there is a need to amend any information, click on the [Back] button to return to the pages that require the amendments.

 
 
d.

If all the information is correct, read the Undertaking and Declaration messages. If you agree to the Undertaking, click on "Yes, I do". If you agree to the Declaration, click on "Yes, I agree".

 
 
e.

Click on the [Submit] button to submit the Travel Application. If you do not wish to submit the Travel Application, click on the [Cancel] button to abort the whole transaction.

 4. Transaction Completed
 
 
a.

Upon the successful submission of the Travel Application, you will see this page. The page will display the key Bankruptcy Details as well as the Travel Application status. A E-Filing Number will also be generated and displayed on this page. This E-Filing Number will be your reference number if you need to check with IPTO on your electronic submission.

 
 
b.

If your application is approved, print out the page as proof of approval. Based on your application, IPTO will know whether you need to apply for a new passport or whether your passport is due for renewal. If there is a need, IPTO will send you the Approval Letter with the Application for New Passport/Renewal of Passport.

 
 
c.

If your application is not approved immediately, you may contact your Bankruptcy Officer on the same working day regarding your Travel Application.

 
 
d.

Click on the [OK] button and you will be directed back to the 'List of eServices' page.
